nutritional food supplements.
ENZYME PROCESS provides rich nutritional
food supplements. The effect of enzyme rich nutritional
supplements on health was noticed back in the 1950's.
At the time, Dr William Hanson, a
brilliant young scientist and founder of Hanson Research,
developed methods of enzyme extraction to preserve the life
sustaining substances in food extracts. With his pioneering
successes behind him, and increasingly aware of the importance of
bio-availability and absorption, Dr Hanson developed the world's
leading instruments for these purposes.
Today his standards are universal and
are used by pharmaceutical and nutritional companies around the
globe.
Years of proven experience and studies
has enabled ENZYME PROCESS to provide the finest food supplements
available today.
Life is an Enzyme Process!
More than 60 years of research has firmly
established that enzymes provide the very sparks of life which
initiate, accelerate and terminate every biochemical process.
Enzymes are protein molecules with specialized functions. These
highly specific molecules are centrally responsible for the precise
and delicate choreography of the millions of processes that occur in
seconds in the human body. They act as the principal catalysts of
the body responsible for digestion, metabolism, cardiovascular
function, liver and kidney function, elimination of toxins,
immunity, brain cognition, breathing, walking, talking - in fact
every bodily function.
Because of their delicate precision,
enzymes are very sensitive to various conditions. In the human body,
for example, the thousands of enzymes present are sensitive to
acidity and body temperature. Any fluctuation in either temperature
or pH will wreak havoc - sometimes fatally. This should be taken
into account when taking nutritional supplements. In many cases
pharmaceutically produced vitamin and minerals supplements, that are
processed using heat and chemicals, are completely devoid of enzymes
- and to stay healthy you need all the enzymes you can get. Without
enzymes, there would be no life at all!
Digestive enzyme deficiency can cause
digestive glands, such as the pancreas, to be overworked in their
efforts to complete the job of digestion. As the digestive glands
and sometimes the thyroid are continually overworked they become
enlarged and less efficient. They deplete increasing amounts of
amino acid chains and co-enzymes required by the rest of the body
for metabolic enzyme activity. These deficiencies can reduce
absorption of vital nutrients and draw down metabolic enzyme
potential necessary for a whole range of organ repair, tissue repair
and optimal immune response. Food allergies may occur, immune
function weakens, sense of well-being decreases and vulnerability to
disease and mortality increases.
As excessive amounts of digestive enzymes
are made, the entire body's enzyme potential is put under great
strain.
Medical researchers have begun to question if a
person's enzyme levels are low because they are sick or are they
sick because their enzyme levels are low? Research has uncovered a
surprising fact . . . . . .
A person does not have low enzyme
availability because of sickness or age, but instead, the reason a
person may be sick or aged is because of low enzyme availability in
the body.
The Enzyme Process approach to health can
be applied to adults of all ages as enzymatic deficiencies are not
confined to the elderly. Precious few adults are living in radiant,
vibrant, optimal states of health. However, increasing digestive
enzymes in the diet by adopting a raw food regimen may not be
practical or even advisable. In those cases, supplementing with a
enzymatically enhanced nutritional supplements can be the answer.
The Enzyme Process Advantage
Each specific enzyme can only digest one
kind of food chemical. That's why enzyme supplements are so
important. Enzyme Process has isolated the enzymes that are most
needed by the body. The Active Enzyme Base formulation, included in
so many of the Enzyme Process products, helps those who eat the
typical American diet high in cooked and processed foods. These
enzymes help to digest large quantities of carbohydrates, proteins
and fats, augmenting those made in our systems and found in fresh
food, thereby improving the absorption of nutrients into the body.
